Kevin's series of 45-minute abridgments of Shakespeare's plays were a centerpiece of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival Touring Company from 2013-2016, performed for over 5,000 audience members in schools, prisons and other community centers throughout the region. Previously, they were produced by students at Kenyon College and the University of Wisconsin- Parkside.
These abridgments include Romeo & Juliet, As You Like It, Othello, Hamlet, Macbeth and Measure for Measure.

Plays for young audiences include The Magical Mind of Billy Shakespeare (Illinois Shakespeare Festival 2013), From Nightmare to Normal (Northlight Theatre Academy 2010), and Midsummer: Bronx (Bradford High School 2009). His ten-minute play, Eight-Twenty-Eight, was a finalist for the Heideman Award (Humana Festival 2004).
Additional plays include Relationship Play (Infamous Commonwealth, Chicago 2001), Variations on Death (Factory Theatre, Chicago 2000), The Death and Life of Barb Budonovich (PS-NBC @ H.E.R.E. New York, 2000) and Fluke and Happenstance (staged readings at Manhattan Theatre Club and O'Neill Theatre Center, 1999).
